My Work in Action
Rethinking Account Planning during the Pandemic Year
Selected through INfuse, my company’s flagship innovation residency, I joined one of the largest Diamond accounts in the Global Agriculture sector as an Innovation Architect during the first fully virtual year of the pandemic.
After a strong year, the real question wasn’t performance — it was how to keep the momentum going while welcoming new leaders and Solution Architects, aligning multiple teams, and shaping a clear Account Plan without the in-person energy the account had always relied on.
Together, we redesigned and facilitated a fully virtual Account Planning experience that brought people into the work in meaningful ways. From mapping key relationships to setting strategic priorities, every element was rethought to be engaging, focused, and easy to navigate.
Over 10+ hours of workshops, we connected more than a hundred participants across India, Europe, North America, and South America. Coordinating time zones and scale became part of the design challenge — and part of the fun.
By blending tools like Miro, immersive VR spaces, and even informal virtual after-office moments, we kept the sense of culture and connection alive while reducing travel, carbon footprint, and overall time investment — achieving sharper strategic alignment than in previous years.
Design Thinking techniques used:
- Executive empathy interviews
- Stakeholder & power mapping
- Journey-based account planning design
- Rapid reframing & iteration (fail fast)
- Collaborative ideation & prioritization (Miro)
- Immersive prototyping (VR environments)
Outcome
A memorable, global Account Planning experience that scaled to 100+ participants, reduced cost and complexity, accelerated alignment, preserved culture, and proved that deep strategy and human connection can thrive—fully virtual and at enterprise scale.
